The interesting thing about this is that Breese & Markowitz, one of the
most outspoken french IP law offices, see

	http://www.zdnet.fr/actu/logi/a0009838.html

has publicly argued against FFII letter to Van Miert. 4-5 of their
attorneys have "signed" the letter in order to criticize it.

Mr Breese himself today replied to my reply, and I am awaiting his
permission to continue the discussion publicly. The quality of their
public statements wasn't very high, but it has improved since then, and it
would be very enlightening for us to go on discussing.

It might even make it worth while for you to brush up your French. When I
wanted to follow a spanish discussion a few years ago, I found that it
just took me a few hours of reading in a Spanish tutorial to to overcome
the barrier. French and Spanish are really similar.
