Thank you for the hints:

This is not working and I have no idea how to submit anything.
Is it evil work by patent offices?
I decided to post something to linux-audio-dev which hopefully is archived
permanetly -- it is archived if I remember correctly.
The text is at "http://www.funet.fi/~kouhia/waves/engine.txt" and it deals
about realtime audio engine. For example, how to insert plug-ins on-the-fly
to the engine --- not a trivial task if engine runs at fast realtime speeds
where dll() could freeze the engine.
[ Amiga software ]
I will look at Amiga, Atari, Mac softwares for the feature which keeps
beginnings of audiofiles in memory for fast start.
My friend's friend wrote it to a program used in two companies but
that might not be available anymore.
I have mailed to octave-bug mailing list at 1994 about the general audiofile
virtual memory but very briefly. Hopefully it was archived. I found also
some private mails but all are quite brief. Well, I will not worry about
using my audiofile virtual memory idea.
As pointed, it is not that trivial to figure out how to handle large files:
many existing Linux programs loads entire files to memory and all processings
happens within memory limits. :-(

I read the software patent informations and I agree that the system is
badly misused. Anyway, patent times are too long; if GATT needs to be
changed to get the times down, perhaps we should try it; specially if
it is the only way.
