Subject: [Patents] Re: Writing to EU?

Considering commissioner Erkki Liikanen I tried searching the EU
pages and on page http://europa.eu.int/geninfo/mailbox/index_en.htm
it is said that:
"The European Commission has decided to change its E-mail addressing
convention to increase transparency and allow Commission personnel to
keep the same address throughout their career. If you want to e-mail a
specific person in the Commission, please use the following E-mail
 addressing format: Firstname.Lastname@cec.eu.int"

or in finnish http://europa.eu.int/geninfo/mailbox/index_fi.htm
"Euroopan komissio ptti muuttaa shkpostiosoitekytntn
listkseen avoimuutta ja mahdollistaakseen sen, ett komissiossa
tyskentelevien shkpostiosoitteet pysyvt samoina, vaikka he
siirtyisivt toisiin tehtviin. Jos haluta lhett postia tietylle
henkillle komissiossa voit osoittaa sen seuraavasti:
 Etunimi.Sukunimi@cec.eu.int"
(other languages at http://europa.eu.int/geninfo/mail.htm)

Which means you should be able to write to Erkii Likkanen as
Erkii.Likkanen@cec.eu.int
