BTW I think INdia is one of the countries that suffers most of the
patent system. You spend a lot of money on a good education system,
and then your best technical people are hired in the US... where the
contribute to the US patent pool, which does not benefit India.

If brain products can be chained, then brains should be too,
i.e. people. 
  Of course I am not in favor of the latter.
  But a country has to have logic.

Besides, patents are nothing but corporate protectionnism. Considering
that now, barriers between corporations are a lot stronger and more
harmful than barriers between coutries, the question can be raised
whetehr all this is compatible with the liberal economy everyone is
preaching for, supposedly to speed up growth and development.
