[Patents] Against IT patents

Okay, it's me, Critto, again.

  We may not give up, we must go on and fight.
Do you understand it, people ? It's a WAR. A WAR between the 
world of open science, competetive markets, and the world of 
MONOPOLY, strenghtened by patents -- the ill-concieved system, 
making now more harm than at any time; that second world is like 
the nightmares from cyberpunk movies and books.

  Things are a'changing. If such big companies like Amazon.com
are making a change, they wish to make a change, then you may see
that it is thanx to public attention paid to it; things with
'1-click' patently absurds became the public affair, described
by newspapers (even in Poland). So I think that society IS,
or IS GOING TO, _RIOT_ against the exploiting. And the only
case to do is to _push_ the society to _riot_ against such
abuses like software patents - no politician can survive when
society is against him (he loses in election :)

By the way, if some companies were pushing to legalize slavery
and kidnapping, should we give up ? The things with IT and
business patents are similiar... 

We must _DELEGITIMIZE_ software patents; we must _show_ that
this is a new system of blocking the market, and that system
is evolving to a totalitarianism. We must DISRUPT the system
of patenting software, by showing its absurdality. It's the only
way. Like Bernard Lang said it:

  Of course it IS NOT (compatible)! Liberal economy DEPENDS
on free market, not legalized monopolies and slavery. Giving
'money for nothing' to companies that are BIG&CHEEKY enough to
demand it is like legalizing robbery. 

  The barriers created by patents are FAR MORE dangerous than
tariffs, duty taxes, etc. And we must _SHOW_ to anybody, that 
'liberal' economy depends on liberty, not exploitation; this is
one step of DELEGITIMIZING software and business patents.
Anyway, a particular group of 'liberals' - libertarians, are against
software patents; see constitution of Oceania (www.oceania.org) for
the example (there is also a support for reverse engineering).

To Bernard Lang: It's nice that you agree with me on many topics. Please
  consider returning to 'cute campaign' project, and don't listen to 
  the critics at that topic. People like 'cute campaigns' - by the way, 
  the ADs are 'cute campaigns', the human rights campaigns are 'cute 
  campaigns', etc; things MUST be 'cute' to be attractive to 
  consumptionist society (they may be, however, ugly, dirty, and evil, 
  but in such case most attracted will be satanists ;-> )
