Does anybody know some good reference books that give a good
presentation of:

* the genesis of patents through the humanity evolution (when and where
did they appear
* how have they been accepted
* what have been the different form of patents' law
* how have they been challenged during their evolution
* what's the status today in the different countries
* what are the current trends and which lobbies are behind these trends
