There is an article promoting "e-brevets" in "Le Monde Informatique",
May 19, page 24. It is written by "Patrice Vidon", an IP consultant.

The article (in French)
http://www.lmi.fr/src/lmi/article/articleL.nsf/29218274bd4ff0ecc12567760030=
3b39/1c3b058f747bd8c5c12568e70047d581?OpenDocument

Actually it is in favor of software patents, and it is full of
propaganda. It is geared towards the non-technical crowd and it
rewrites the history of the Amazon story, among the usual pro-patent
stuff. We know the Amazon story shows that the software patent system
is broken, even Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos agreed with Tim O'Reilly in:
<http://www.oreilly.com/ask_tim/amazon_patent.html>

This is really the kind of article which should not remain unanswered,
as all the arguments are flawed.
