Subject: [Patents] Patent on online advertising.

I only saw this one today:

``CNET Patents Banner Advertising Networks''

``Apparatus and method for tracking world wide web browser requests across
distinct domains using persistent client-side state''

	S.

PS: we reached 2000 the signatures mark on petition.eurolinux.org, despite
some networking problems (we're suspecting some kind of DoS attack, but
we don't have evidences supporting this theory), that caused us a lot of
headeache yesterday. Thanks to everyone who supported us, but it's far
from over. In fact, it's just the beginning of the campaign.

Note: some people posted messages in french in this mailing list. I recall
that this is against the policy of the list, and I apologize to our
non french-speaking readers (I do not apologize for Mr Breese, though:
he was warned numerous times that he was not supposed to post in french).
