Subject: [Patents] patentable algorithm :read warning

Hi again!

Warning:My math knowledge is low and my english is ...er... you know X^D
thus the purpouse of this email is just start the argument.
I write this with the help of a dictionary so apologize is you find it
naive.
I don't know if your national laws or Courts defined these words
differently.

ALGORITHM:A logical arithmetical or computational procedure that if
correctly applied ensures the solution of a problem.

A few words for comparing:

PROGRAM:A sequence of coded instructions fed into a computer, enabling
it to perform specified logical and arithmetical operations on data.
THEOREM:A statement or formula that can be reduced from the axioms of a
formal systems by means of its rules of inferens.
FORMULA:A general relationship, principle or ruled stated, often as an
equation, in the form of symbols.
AXIOM:A generally accepted proposition or principle, sanctioned by
experience;maxim.
EQUATION:A mathematical statement that two expression are equal.

IMHO "program" is very similar to "algorithm".A program is a coded
algorithm.
As "algorithm" "ensures the solution of a problem" the distinction
between algorithm or programs "which solves technical problem" and "pure
soft"
is quite weak if not false.
As "algorithm" could contain "formulas" and usually those include
"axioms".
Could some "axiom" be born from "algorithm"?
I mean if you patent soft(=program=algorithm) how can you stop including
others patented algorithms on them?
Are you able to differenciate the patented algorithm and the Math
formulas or the Scientific axioms of it?

Is all about patenting soft a big April's fools and I am so dolt that
couldn't realize the delightful sarcasm of all previous days arguments?

And of course my traditional bad joke for finishing!

In a class of astronomy, teacher asks a pupil to write in the blackboard
the Hubble's Law.
-Do not plan to do so without the help of a experienced IP lawyer,
answer the pupil.
