Subject: [Patents] satellite tech -iridium

I wanna know if satellite communications and the subsequent access of data
and its flow through the satellite network has been patented as suggested
in some reports of patent offices .
I believe they should not be as it would jeopardise freedom on the net to
access data reliably ,as stupid /silly logical ways of flow of data across
networks (including satellite and land networks)has been allegedly patented
by some greedy companies?
Does this mean that tomorrow if I need to send data across the Iridium
network I cant do so as this logical process has been patented by some
stupid,greedy company ?
whaty can we do about this?
Anyone interested in Iridium and its potential can contact me(got great
plans ahead)!
