>    let me help your memory: I was referring to a panel discussion on
> Nov. 8 during the SYSTEMS exhibition. It was organized by the German
> newspaper "Computer Zeitung". It was broadcasted in real time over the
> Internet. A video tape of the discussion is available from Diebold in
> Eschborn.

So you were one of the 10-20 listeners of that discussion?
It should be on the Net but I never found it so far.
I was on a podium with 3 proponents of unlimited patentability, who argued
on moral grounds for the equality of informational and physical processes,
but refused to consider the reality of software patents at the EPO today.
The patent attorney Mr Pfeiffer was still the most flexible of these
people.  On the whole I had a lot of fun with them.
