Thank you. So we software developers can all go home and quit work.
All software needs are already solved. No need for any further development.

If there are needs left which haven't been met, why do you assume the
reason is not software patents?. Have you asked every programmer?.

Your discourse is really hard to follow for me, you jump from one
sentence to the next without apparent connection and state facts that
seem mystically revealed to you alone, because they aren't apparent in the
world I live.

>new magazines. And open source/network, I have given up trying to
>keep track of the endless amounts of new software posted at way

That's probably the reason you don't consider patents a problem.

>So the answer is quite simple. Hartmut, you may be afraid of
>software patents, but very few other people are.

Hi!. We're here, we're some 60000+ signing the eurolinux petition...
this is 1E-5 of the total world population, granted, but my English
teacher never taught me 60000 are "few people".

Oh! great!. so Linux consultants have only to fear their clients
fear of software patents leaves them with no customers.
A charming perspective.

And don't pretend that an individual or SME can get a patent
to withstand IBM or Microsoft (in a later mail from you). That's
demagogy. Here you have a testimonial
