[Patents] patent pools enforcing per-copy-licensing modeof software development

       But venture capitalists also begin to be threatened to put money
in some company, even if it has patents, when other patents may explode
as landmines on their way to industrialization. Here again, software
patents make that they have no guarantee of profitability, although they
could at least be sure to be allowed to market their product if software
patents did not exist...

        You keep telling us about the IEEE proceedings... What's magic
in them that excites you so much? Yes, researchers produce science. So
what? If software patents were enforced in research labs, they could
not do it, because of patented trivial algorithms. In the current
situation, their inventions cannot pass the lab doors, because in the
outside software patents apply. So what is your point?
