Mr Breese is clearly taking liberties with the truth when he pretends
to be defending the interests of SMEs, as he usually does.
Available studies show that patents are of little use to SMEs, and
generally harmful.  And that is not just for software, but also in
other fields according to a recent study conducted in UK (not much to
be suspected of being against patents).

So the usefulness of his job to his customers is at least disputable.

Not to mention innuendos, verging libel, to be found on Mr. Breese's
site.
