You only show the EMPTINESS the world of the lawyers. All you 
show us, is that you (and your pro-slavery, that is pro-sw-pats, 
comrades) are LOSING POWER. YOUR ARE RUNNING OUT OF 
FORCE (force is not with you :-)) If not the European Parliament, 
the parliaments of the European Countries will pull out the plug of 
the patent madness. America will be alone with sw-pats, as it was 
once with slavery (eh, it existed even longer in Brasil and so on).

In short: more violently you fight, less power you indicate to have. It 
is good news for me -- your potential slave, who don't want to let 
you enslave him. It is FATAL news for you, for one day you will be 
unemployed -- and thanks God you will be, for your profession 
depends on enslaving other people.

And about your "ethics of patenting". Pro-slavery people (I really 
studied the American history!) argued that "slaves are the HONEST 
PROPERTY of the slaveowner", and that "nobody may take 
somebody's property away". Surely! But NO MAN or WOMAN may 
be other man's/woman's property, and it applies to all the fields of 
human activity. Your "ethics" reminds the latter exactly: 
1. slaveowners' ethics: if the property is unalienable, slavery must 
be too, because the slaves are our property, and we don't care 
what they think
2. your (and other pro-sw-pat folks) ethics: if the patents 
(intellectual property) are unalienable, software patents must be 
too, because the software ideas are our property, and we don't care 
what think the people that we FORCED to give up their Pursuit of 
Happiness, Liberty and Property

You may laugh, but one day everybody wil be laughing at you. In 
fact, WE (Pilch, Bernard, I and others) are more powerful than the 
stinking pro-software-patent lobbyists from United Shackles of 
America.
