Whatmore, it seems that pro-patent slavery folks -- and, especially, 
officials, DO NOT indicate the good will at all. Frr example, in USA, 
the prior art database was to be established, funded by the Federal 
Government (or by Patent & Tm Office, I don't remember well). And 
what happened ?? Nothing, of course. More and more troubles 
were stacked up before that project -- lack of funding, problems 
with collecting info, unwillingness of both the government and 
corporate officials to cooperate ...

Such a database is A MUST, if any patent (in any domain) is to 
exist. It is the REQUIREMENT OF JUSTICE AND HONESTY -- 
because it is not honest (and illegal!) to patent prior art, thus all the 
parties interested in the patent proceedings should *exclude* prior 
art from being patented and even included in the patent pending 
proceedings. 

Patenting prior art will harm the public and the non-patent 
inventors. There's no doubt that patenting prior art is FRAUD, 
moreover, it threats the patent owner, too ; however, nobody was 
prone to exclude it. What does it indicate ?? The EVIL WILL of 
some corporations and government officials. The evil will to fraud 
the people, to rob the public from the prior art. It indicades their 
propensity to theft and enslavement of others.

Of course, such a database would be good, but it WOULD NOT 
justify the sw-patents. As I've already mentioned, sw-pats are the 
*slavery* (4th category), and *nothing* will change it.

Also, as a libertarian, I am *NOT* happy because of lobbying to 
spend more European eurobucks on the research in the matter.
Those bucks were _stolen_ from the taxpayers by the 
governments, and at a gunpoint (that's what taxation is about).
The less costly alternative is to *outlaw* the sw-pats, to finish the 
sw-pat slavery and that the EU officials dumbed their ears to 
American tyrannical, soviet-like demands and decries.
