When I said "I doubt highly if your ideas could stand the tests of
novelty and obviousness", that wasn't slander, but a statistical
assertion on the probability of something really new in the field of
pattern recognition (and frankly, the phrase "data mining" is mostly
a word used by marketing types).

Now if I said you had the intelligence of an amoeba, that might be
slander, but I didn't say that.

Or if I said your emails are hard to distinguish from the random outpu
of a Net bot, that might be slander, but I didn't say that.

Or if I said your ability to argue logically is as pathetically low as
your ability to research what you are ranting and raving about, that
might be slander, but I didn't say that.

Or if I accused you of being nothing more than an a fake email address
serving as an alter ego for Hartmut in order to make it look like more
people support his point of view, that might be slander for one or both
of you (depending on which one is real and which one is virtual), but I
didn't say that.

However what I think in mind is another matter, which unfortunately you
can't sue me for.

In the words of one of World War II's greatest tank commander, Oddball,
"Ruff Ruff Ruff" :-)
