Oops, sorry

Not all important law doctrine articles are in GRUR (association and
magazine of the IP community in Germany, has also functioned as a
patent inflation pressure group, influencing the opinion of judges
who tended to be more "conservative")

What is absurd about it is only that it is so short.
Mr. Schoelch, a patent examiner from the German Office, actually did quite
a good job at showing the logical flaws and dangerous consequences of
software patents. For GRUR, this is a rather exceptional article.
But anything that is published in GRUR is kind of a leaf --- we can't
republish it in digital form until 70 years later.

Another article by a junior colleague of Mr. Schoelch was not published in
GRUR, which made it possible for us to put it on the Net and provide an
English translation:

This article is even more sharp and uncompassionate in showing the
flaws in patent inflationist reasoning, and the author writes partially
from the perspective of a (former) professional programmer.
