There is now a webpage

Collective Protection Shield against Software Patents?
	http://swpat.ffii.org/stidi/gacri/
	http://swpat.ffii.org/stidi/gacri/indexen.html

that discusses the problem of how prior art and other means can be
leveraged and why "defensive publishing" in a dedicated database is the
wrong way to do it.

There is a tabular presentation of the advantages and disadvantages
compared to time-stamping the state of the art decentrally.
