Like I said the first time, you need to be inventive enough to find a better
way
to do whatever is done by a patent you do not like.  That is the whole point
of
the system, to incite people to come up with another way to do the task.  And
if
you cannot do so, then you get to pay tribute for twenty years to whoever did.

And if you do not want patents on software in Europe that is fine by me (note
that I am not pursuing software patents myself).  For that means that American
businesses will have an advantage over those who do not have such patent
rights
, in that they will have to pay tribute to the American inventors who do have
those patents when selling in the US.

It's really a BIG WASTE OF TIME to discuss with the people like
you or Greg. Well, if you *really really* want to have your software-
patent slavery, keep it in the USA (United Shackles of America),
give up your constitutional freedoms, disarm yourselves, censor
every media you have, and voila -- it's your decision. Anyway, it
would be NICE to see the second (or third) American Revolution,
when people will be fed up enough with such "order". As Thomas
Jefferson said, "(...)from time to time, the Tree of Liberty must be
refreshed with the blood of the patriots and tyrants. It's its natural
manure(...)". Maybe it's time for AR II (or AR III) ??? y'all,
Americans, decide.

However, push off from the Europe. Leave us alone.
We, Europeans, value our freedom. Now we are declarin' our
independence, as your great Founding Fathers once did. Y'all
aren't worthy to be called their 'grandchildren' and so on, but it
doesn't matter here.

It's a pity, that freedom of creation, freedom of expression, freedom
of speech is violated in USA at every step. Your country as whole
is being turned into the federal bandits-ruled police state, with the
multitude of DEA, FBI, IRS, INS, EPA, FDA and the whole wide
alphabet names of the 'agencies', all as worthy and "humane" as
NKWD/KGB/Gestapo was.

But, it's American problem, NOT European, as long as USA
doesn't tend to impose its own slavery in Europe. Once you do try,
we must RESIST.

You gave the long, "rhetoric" speech about how the sw-pats are
"beneficial" to creation; all you said is, that sw-pats "protect
creativity" from "copying". Bullshit, I say !! There are copyrights
that protect it; patents "protects" it in the same way as the
CENSORSHIP does. In fact, sw-patents ARE the censorship.
It is the most orwellian-like speech to claim that censorship (or
patents) "protect" creativity while destroyin' it by imposing
prohibition on many creators, programmers, writers and so on.
"Peace is war" and "Liberty is slavery" as the plaque on Revolution
Building in Oceania ('1984' by Orwell) stated.

If you don't have anything better to say, you'd better sign off.

  Liberty or Death !!
