In that case; it's not Microsoft that is going to force you to use this
kind of DRM OS but for sure the content owner (Studios, ...)
If you want to see these contents, you will have to use the DRM OS

Through this patent, MS is just trying to make sure that the DRM OS is
going to be a MS one.
