Meanwhile I was told that the archive has moved to

        http://aful.org/wws/arc/patents/

Unfortunately this archive is "protected against spam harvesters", which
also means that it cannot be properly indexed by search machines and that
it is difficult to use and quote.

I'd prefer no protection or protection by a script which turns email
addresses into pictures (still well readable enough with a propery mimecap
entry for text browsers such as w3m and lynx).
