participants of the symposium, which I might as well share with everybody

We are in particular grateful for any helpful remarks on our directive
counter-proposal, which is still not quite out of the development
stage, both on problems of legalese grammar and on content which might
preferrably be expressed using this grammar.  We have dived deeply
into issues of grammar, because otherwise lawyers tend to use their
supremacy in grammar questions in order to gain control of content.
We hope that the overly far outreach of lawyers is beginning to become
part of history and will not disturb the communication in Amsterdam,
to which I am very much looking forward.
