Thanks for your reactivity, many people (me included) are using Opera as
their default browser.

But I fear that you'll have to change your scripts each time a new
JavaScript-compliant browser is released. There are already many browsers
which may be compliant with the epoline website but will be rejected by
such tests.

For example Konqueror (Linux), iCab (Macintosh), Omniweb (Macintosh) etc.
may be compliant with your website.
Also you have to take into account that Apple released its own browser,
Safari, which is going to be the default Macintosh browser. This isn't
yet full compliant with JavaScript but many people are already using it.

I think a solution for you would be to use another thing than JavaScript.

With the experience of my company's website I can say that, in general,
you can replace any JavaScript by a PHP script (or CGI-Bin, JSP...). This
being done you don't need anymore to test the browser, you only have to
follow the very simple W3C's guidelines. As PHP put the burden of the
task on the webserver, you can welcome mobile phone and PDA users since
the browsers have to be so light on these systems that they don't include
a JavaScript interpreter.

Sorry for this long message, I hope it will help you to improve even more
the epoline website.

Best wishes
