Onno wants concrete suggestions for amendments, which he will pass on to a
Flemish EU parlementarian, who will propose them. Frankie Bollaert and I
have volunteered to translate the amendments into Dutch, which is how he
wants them. As suggested by xdrudis@tinet.org, I have read through 

  Problems with the  Juri committee rapporteur draft

and

  Counter proposal (how would good amendments look like)

But to be honest these texts are quite legal for a non-legal brain like mine.
And I feel I don't have enough background on the whole history and procedure
to pull amendments to the McCarthy's proposal from the links above, in an
intelligent way.

Would anyone care to assist?
