It seems Simon Duke and some others on this list would rather write
worthless messages to 400 people than take a few minutes time to few
instructions which can be found at the end of each message.

This would be reason enough to be thrown out (or to be locked in, deprived
of both the right to post and the right to unsubscribe), but the list
owners are unable do such this administrative work at the moment.
