Troll?
I've always enjoyed the continuing debate/discussion on the value and abuse
of the patenting process. Usually the discussions are passionate and
intelligent and both sides are able to learn something.
Am I to assume the Guillaume believes that those who research patents, like
myself, are part of the "egocentric and greedy lobbyists" groups who benefit
from poorly drafted and researched patent applications? I've always
believed that if a patent search was conducted properly, the truly worthless
patents will be eliminated and innovations that truly advance a technology
will be rewarded.
And talk about your paranoia; a "send them 'unsuscribe' spam"? Honestly, I
was merely going to unsubscribe for the two weeks I'll be on my honeymoon.
No great conspiracy. I'll actually be in the South of France if you would
like meet and have a glass of wine. Maybe a nice Napa Chardonnay.

OK, one more irrelevant unsuscribe troll. This one is from
ngilman@gilmanresearch.com.
If you go to http://www.gilmanresearch.com/, you can see that Gilman
is one of those guys who have direct financial insterests in having
patents to cover each and every aspects of your life. One who is
likely to suscribe pro-patent lists rather than anti-patent list like
this one.
Is anyone aware of a possible "send them 'unsuscribe' spams" campaign
that could have been launched by one of these lists?
I mean, some of those egocentric and greedy lobbyists must be likely to
adopt such an unfair behavior. Is there anything to do?
