Sort of.

Usually.

I beleive that's been true some times in the past and perhaps is still true
on material inventions vs intellectual and/or virtual inventions for which
it is definitly not true. Although genetics are material and should NEVER
been patentable in any form. The limits are so tight that letting lawyers
decide what is and what is not patentable makes it too dangerous for anyone.
So I keep saying that what's been maybe true at the very begining of
industrial
times is no more true today.
But I just realize I'm entering the debate I was simply lurking for monthes.
But I just couldn't stand your "poorly drafted and researched patent
applications" argument : today's patents (on software) have NOTHING to do with
innovation but monopolism. Full dot. Beleive it or not (beeing or not in your
own interest) it simply is the truth. Just think of it ten seconds without
your lawyer point of view and you'll come to this result.

It's really a pity to think about drinking Napa wines in France :-(
Anyway, happy honeymoon and try to find only ten seconds of this good time
to think about it without your lawer suite. I'm so certain you'll come to the
same conclusions than mines.
F.
PS: another ten seconds would have been enough to convinced you that writing
to a public group e-mail address to unsubscribe is a nonsens :-)
