Tord Johanssen, author of BladeEnc, was approached by the MP3 patent
owners (Thomson Multimedia) and aksed to take his free software off the
Net.  Tord didn't make any money with his software, but apparently was
perceived as causing losses to Thomson.

GregBot knows that very well.  This discussion has been reiterated on
patents at aful org many times.

The fourth isn't european.
