OK, now I read "The Economic Impact of Patent. of Comp. Programs".

There are lot of wrong ideas and facts but let them be :)

There are 3 options said (pg 9):
1) I didn't get the idea of it. What is the "status quo" now? This option
means, that everything should be patentable? Or what?
2) Is it the same as option 2?
3) What does it suggest?
