Why does Meller use McCarthy style wording as his own, without quotes?
The "extreme amendments" were submitted not only by green MEPs but also by
people from PSE, and their "extremism" consists in defending the current
law.
Meller also claims that McCarthy's directive proposes "much more
restricted patentability than in the US" etc. He uses McCarthy's
propaganda as his own, while everything which critics say is subjected to
a lot of quoting and doubting.
The same applies to the claim that we somehow offended McCarthy. She, like
others, received a letter about the Dorint conference very late, but she
knew about it early enough and it was clear that these conferences were
public and she was welcome to attend.
