The big boys tend to get the service deals from big boys, because
they feel uneasy to deal with small ones for several reasons.
And what do big service providers do? They contract with small ones who
are able to actually deliver the service.

I am an owner of a company with a succesful business model based on
open source. I have tens of friends having other such businesses,
and we are fine, thanks. And we do not need software patents, thank you.

Put it to your asshole, dickhead.

I cannot see the connection between companies not finding the right
business model for themselves and software patents.
