Sorry not to answer before, I'm short of time
DGx are staff divisions in the European Parliament, nothing to do
with Commission Directorate Generals, which are more like ministries
or goveernment departments.
An assistant told me that:
- this page is not binding/sure, only orientative
- DGII is like secretariat of the JURI committee. They're proposing June
30-July 4 plenary
- DGI is Presidents, with representation from all political groups, and
they're
proposing to vote in plenary 2003.9.1. They seem to have more authority but
to usually make last minute changes one week before plenary
- the date for plenary is not decided yet.
