Greg,
I don't like to argue with you, but what is illogic about software
copyright?
I am an artist when writing code.
My code is my way of expressing myself (and should be protected as
freedom of speach).
When I write code I desearve the same protection as an author writing a
book (so I should use copyright like him).
Just like when the book is used by holywood to make a movy, they have to
pay and respect the author right...
When someone want to compile and distribute my code, they have to
respect my right.
Just like Woody Allen fighting about colorized movies...
When I write software, I have a moral (because I am from EU) on my art
and can refuse certain use that will not honor my name or piece of art.
What do you think?
