Not 1 million but a tousand would make enough noise. We have to convince
the people out there. The whole problem is the fact that it's vacation
and we will not be able to touch many people in so short a time. We
tried with some friends in a university in Strasbourg. They would be
willing to come because they don't like the fact that Europe laws are
created by the pressure of US multinationals. But we will not be able to
reach enough of them as they spread around for the moment.
They will not come beacause it endangers Free Software.

|
| This is why we probably need a paper petition. Lots of people signed the
| electronic petition. Imagine if they signed a paper petition?

We had one in Luxembourg and it made some noise. We where able to get
the ear of some politicians which then in turn made an official
statement in newspapers.

But how to get over 150.000 signatures in only one month ?

|

|>as now we have "free software".

A nice dream but there is still a lot of fighting to be done.

|
| That would be awesome!
|
|
|>But people say JURI is not representative of the whole EP. We can still
|>win in plenary. If we try.
|

We need the mainstream press to but more attention to this case.
Some 'vulgarization' would be needed with more weigth on the fact that
all those Directives are not meant for the good of Europe and it's
people but only to satisfy the appetite of huge companies and of
lawyers. And that all beeing done with our honstly earned money and only
to have to pay more once those laws are inplemented in our countries.

|
| That's where my hope is right now :)
