Jim Bessen rebuked Greg Aharonian's censorship accusation:

> No one who censors his own mailing list, excluding a variety of
> legitimate researchers, should have any reason to complain about the
> subsequent censoring of this newsletter.

I chose to comment on a self-contained portion of GregNews.  I can't see
how this relates to censorship at all.  It's even my duty under copyright
to quote only what I am commenting.

And while it is true that Greg punishes his critics by excluding them from
the recipient list of his newsletter, such kinds of sanctions are not
censorship in the strict sense of the term.

Greg's doctoring of Axel Horns' text however is censorship at its worst.
Greg himself fails to point to the Horns Blog, so that people can not
compare what he is (mis)quoting to what Horns actually said. By quoting
Horns as having replaced "FFII" with "FeeFiFoII", Greg falsely attributes
his own malpractise to Horns.  The correct form of censorship would be to
leave out a sentence and mark the ellipsis with [...].

> Apparently Greg is afraid lest we do, in fact, think for ourselves.

Exactly.
