Software patent directive has been removed as A item from the EC Council on Agriculture and Environment 21-22 December by Polish Ministry of Science and Education, with motivation that the text does not grant implementation of  European Patent Convention (good!), and that Poland need more time to make a statement (wrong: Poland does not need more time if they effectively use the brain power at place).  

 

The statement should propose introduction of permanent revocation period for patents (trough the EPO’s procedure or through mutual recognition of courts decisions).
