In today's edition of Handelsblatt, Germany's and (Continental) Europe's
most important business and financial publication, there is a commentary
titled "Brüsseler Chaostage" ("Chaotic Days in Brussels").  The article
expressly highlights the negative implications of the directive in its
current form to small and medium-sized enterprises.  The closing sentence
concludes: 
"In view of [this], a complete restart would certainly be the better
solution."
