Yes and No.
As in software, the core claims are about a process, such as that of
achieving a further technical effect in the brain cells of the spectator
in a commercial setting by concrete means, such as a cinema projector,
in a commercial setting.
You can find that explained both by Andrew Kight on
plotpatents.com/legal_analysis.htm
and in our
http://swpat.ffii.org/analysis/faq/romeo/
piece which may become prior art against Knight's claim to have invented
this kind of patent.
Thus, although the core of the patent is not about texts which describe
something,
the practise of granting program claims, which is in itself illogical, would
lead
to the logical conclusion that also the publication of a description of the
plot
must be claimable and for sure an infringment.
Btw, the publication of the emediawire article on this mailing list could be
a copyright infringment, and it might take costly litigation through many
courts
to argue that it falls under "fair use", with unsure outcome.
On the mailing list archive my name is listed as a responsible person for this
mailing list, although I have been unable to administrate this list for ages.
My name should better be removed from there, I think at the moment we don't
have an administrator, and having to delet articles from the archive is
probably an unpleasant experience for which we don't have candidates.
